Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data LogicArray collects when you use 9bx or visit this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
The short version
Data your business puts into its workspace belongs to your business. We process it only to run 9bx for you.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use workspace content for advertising.
Self-hosted? Your data stays on your server. We only receive what we need for licensing, billing and support.
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time.
This summary is here to help you read the document. The full text below is what applies.
01Who we are and what this covers
9bx is a business software platform built and operated by LogicArray (logicarray.net). In this policy “LogicArray”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LogicArray, and “9bx” or “the service” means the 9bx platform: the PBX and call centre, CRM, helpdesk, omnichannel inbox, HRM, access control, inventory and reporting modules, our desktop and mobile apps, and this website.
It applies to everyone who visits this website, signs up for a trial or an account, uses a 9bx workspace or contacts us. It does not cover third-party services you connect to 9bx, such as a WhatsApp Business account or your own telecom carrier. Those services have their own policies.
02Our role and yours
Who is responsible for personal data depends on whose data it is.
Workspace content. When your business uses 9bx, it decides what goes into its workspace: customer contacts, conversations, call recordings, tickets, employee records and so on. Your business is the controller of that data and LogicArray is its processor. We handle it only on your business’s instructions and to provide the service.
Accounts, billing and this website. For the people who sign up, administer and pay for accounts, and for visitors to this website, LogicArray is the controller.
If you are a customer or employee of a business that uses 9bx (for example, you called its call centre), please contact that business about your data. We will help it respond to you.
03Data we collect
Account data. Name, work email, phone number, company name, country and job role, your password (stored only as a hash) and your sign-in security settings.
Billing data. Plan, modules, invoices, VAT or tax details and payment history. Card and mobile wallet payments are handled by the payment gateway. We receive a payment token, the last digits of the card or the wallet number, and the result of the payment, never your full card number.
Workspace content. Everything your team adds to or receives in 9bx: contacts and customer records, deals, tickets, messages from WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger, email and web chat, files, employee records, attendance, leave and payroll data, access events from biometric or card devices, and inventory records.
Call data. Call detail records (CDRs), meaning the numbers involved, time, duration, route, queue and agent of each call, plus voicemail and, where your workspace has recording switched on, call recordings.
Device and usage data. IP address, browser and app version, device type, sign-in times, actions recorded in the audit log, error reports and performance logs.
Website data. Pages visited and the details you enter in our forms. Analytics and advertising tags run only if they have been enabled for this site (see Cookies).
Some workspace content can be sensitive: call recordings, payroll data and biometric attendance records, for example. Your business decides whether to collect it, and is responsible for having a lawful basis and for giving any notice its employees or customers are owed.
04How we use data
Provide the service. Create workspaces, route calls and messages, store recordings, run reports and keep apps and devices in sync.
Bill you. Calculate charges, apply taxes and coupons, take payments, send invoices and handle failed payments.
Keep 9bx secure. Authenticate users, detect fraud and toll fraud, investigate abuse and keep audit logs.
Support you. Answer questions and fix problems you report. We look inside a workspace only when you ask us to or when it is needed to keep the service secure.
Improve 9bx. Understand which features are used and where things break, using aggregated or de-identified data wherever we can.
Talk to you. Send service notices about billing, security and changes to these documents and, unless you opt out, occasional product news.
Meet legal duties. Keep the records the law requires and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
When you use AI features, the content you send to them is processed to give you the result. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models offered to other customers.
05Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis for using personal data (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), we rely on:
Contract. To provide the service you or your employer signed up for, and to bill for it.
Legitimate interests. To keep 9bx secure, prevent fraud, improve the product and tell business contacts about it, always balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation. To keep tax and accounting records and to meet telecom and other regulatory duties.
Consent. For optional analytics or advertising cookies, and for marketing emails where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
For workspace content, your business is responsible for the legal basis. We process that data on its instructions.
06Call recording
Call recording is off until a workspace admin switches it on for an extension, queue or route. When it is on, recordings are stored with the workspace, on 9bx Cloud, on your own server or on storage your business connects, and can be played back only by users with permission to do so.
Recording laws differ from country to country, and many require callers to be told, or to agree, before a call is recorded. Your business is responsible for knowing and following those rules, including telling callers and agents that calls are recorded. 9bx can play a consent announcement at the start of each call to help you do this.
Admins can download and delete recordings. How long they are kept is your business’s decision, within the rules in How long we keep data and any minimum period set by your local telecom rules.
07Sharing and sub-processors
We share personal data only with those who need it to run 9bx, and only as much as they need:
Infrastructure providers that host our servers, storage and backups.
Payment gateways and banks that process card and mobile wallet payments.
Telecom carriers and SIP trunk providers that connect your calls and deliver your SMS.
The messaging channels you connect, such as WhatsApp, Messenger and email, to send and receive your messages.
Email and SMS providers we use to send sign-in codes, invoices and service notices.
Support and monitoring tools we use to answer tickets and detect errors.
Professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality.
Every sub-processor is bound by a written agreement that limits its use of the data to the work we engage it for and requires appropriate security. Business customers can ask us for the current list of sub-processors.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order or a request from a regulator. Where we are allowed to, we will tell the affected customer first. If LogicArray is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may pass to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
08International transfers
LogicArray is based in Bangladesh, and 9bx Cloud and our providers may process data in other countries. When data moves across borders, we protect it as this policy describes, using safeguards such as contractual commitments with our providers, and we follow the transfer rules that apply to you. If your data must stay in a particular country, you can run 9bx on your own server or ask us about hosting options.
09How long we keep data
Active subscriptions. We keep workspace content for as long as the subscription is active, unless your admins delete it sooner.
Lapsed subscriptions. If a subscription ends or a payment lapses, the workspace becomes read-only and nothing is deleted for 30 days. After that, and after we have given the account owner notice, we may permanently delete the workspace and its content.
Backups. Deleted data can remain in backups until those backups roll off under our backup schedule. We restore from backups only to recover from a failure.
Records the law requires. We keep invoices, payment and tax records, and CDRs where telecom rules require them, for the period the law sets, even after a workspace is deleted.
Website and support. Form submissions and support conversations are kept while they are useful to our relationship with you, then deleted or anonymised.
10Security
We protect data with measures designed for a multi-tenant business platform, including tenant isolation in the database, encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logs and regular backups. Our staff access customer workspaces only when needed to support or protect the service. Read more on our Security & data page.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects personal data, we will notify the affected customers without undue delay and as the law requires.
11Self-hosted deployments
If your business runs 9bx on its own server, your workspace content, including call recordings, CDRs and employee data, stays on that server and under your control. We have no access to it unless you give it to us, for example during a support session.
A self-hosted installation sends us only what we need for licensing, billing and support: the licence key, installation and version details, the modules and number of users or extensions in use, and basic health information. Anything you share with us while asking for support is handled under this policy.
The same applies when a 9bx Cloud workspace stores its call recordings on your own storage: the files live in your storage, and 9bx reads and writes them only on your instructions.
12Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Delete data we no longer need or have no right to keep.
Export your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses, including direct marketing, which you can stop at any time.
Withdraw consent you have given, without affecting anything done before.
Workspace admins can view, export, correct and delete most workspace content themselves in 9bx. For anything else, contact us using the details in Contact. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law allows, usually 30 days.
If your data is in a workspace run by another business, we will pass your request to that business, because it decides how its data is handled. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
13Children
9bx is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14Cookies and analytics
This website and the 9bx app use cookies and similar browser storage that are strictly necessary: to keep you signed in, remember your settings and protect forms against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics and advertising tags, such as web analytics, a tag manager or an advertising pixel, load only if they have been enabled for this site and, where the law requires consent, only after you agree. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though you may need to sign in again.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as 9bx and the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect.
16Contact
Send questions, requests or complaints about privacy to LogicArray:
These terms are the agreement between LogicArray and the business that uses 9bx. Please read them before you start a trial or subscribe.
The short version
Your business owns its data and can export it at any time.
Upgrades are charged prorated straight away. Downgrades take effect next cycle, with no refund for the rest of the current one.
Do not use 9bx for spam, robocalls, toll fraud or unlawful recording.
If a payment lapses, the workspace goes read-only. Nothing is deleted for 30 days.
This summary is here to help you read the document. The full text below is what applies.
01Agreement and acceptance
These Terms of service (“terms”) are an agreement between LogicArray (“we”, “us”) and the business or organisation that creates or uses a 9bx workspace (“customer” or “you”). By starting a trial, subscribing or using 9bx, you accept these terms and our Privacy policy.
If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you have signed a separate written agreement with us, such as an Enterprise order form or service level agreement, that agreement takes precedence where it differs from these terms.
9bx is for business use. You must be at least 18 and use it for your trade, business or profession.
02Accounts and workspaces
A workspace belongs to the customer. The person who creates it becomes its first owner and can add admins and users.
Admins are responsible for who they invite, the roles and permissions they grant, and everything done under the accounts in their workspace.
Keep sign-in details safe, use strong passwords and two-step sign-in where available, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Give us accurate account and billing details and keep them up to date.
03The service and modules
9bx is a modular platform. Depending on your plan and the modules you switch on, it can include the PBX and call centre, CRM, helpdesk, omnichannel inbox, HRM, access control, inventory and reporting, with desktop and mobile apps. You can use it on 9bx Cloud or install it on your own server.
Each plan sets limits, such as users, extensions or storage, and platform features. Modules are priced separately. What is included is shown on the pricing page and in Billing & Plans inside your workspace. We improve 9bx continuously and may change or retire features, but we will not materially reduce the core functionality of a module you have paid for during a paid cycle without telling you first.
Some features depend on third parties, such as carriers, messaging channels, payment gateways and devices. Their availability is outside our control, and your use of them may also be subject to their own terms.
04Trials, plans and billing
Trials. Paid plans can start with a free trial. If you saved a payment method during the trial, the first charge is taken only when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. If you did not, you will be asked to choose a plan and pay when the trial ends.
Plans and renewals. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, for the plan and modules you choose, and renew automatically at the end of each cycle until cancelled.
Upgrades. Upgrading your plan or adding a module takes effect immediately. You pay the prorated difference for the days left in the current cycle.
Downgrades and cancellations. Downgrading, removing a module or cancelling takes effect at the start of your next cycle. You keep what you paid for until then, and the rest of the current cycle is not refunded.
Coupons. Coupons apply as stated when they are issued, cannot be combined with another coupon, and never apply to metered usage or taxes.
Taxes. Prices exclude taxes. We add VAT for customers in Bangladesh, and other taxes where the law requires us to collect them. You are responsible for any other taxes or duties that apply to you.
Payment. You can pay with the methods offered at checkout, such as mobile wallets and cards. By saving a payment method, you authorise us to charge it for renewals, upgrades and metered usage.
Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing, fees paid are non-refundable, as described on the pricing page.
Price changes. We may change prices for future cycles. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies to your subscription.
05Metered usage
Call minutes, SMS, AI and similar usage are metered. Each plan includes an allowance. Usage above it is billed in arrears on your next invoice at the published per-unit rates, and admins can set a spending cap for each workspace.
You are responsible for all usage on your workspace, including usage caused by stolen credentials or misconfigured devices. Protect your extensions, SIP accounts and devices with strong passwords and keep them up to date.
06Acceptable use
You must not use 9bx, or let anyone else use it, to:
Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, make robocalls, or contact people who have opted out or are on a do-not-call list.
Commit or enable toll fraud or traffic pumping, or present caller IDs you are not entitled to use.
Record or monitor calls or messages unlawfully, or without the notice or consent the law requires.
Break telecom rules, including the regulations and licensing conditions of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and of the regulators wherever else you operate.
Process personal data without a lawful basis, or store or send content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory or harmful.
Reverse engineer, decompile or copy the software, except where the law allows it, or get around licence checks, usage limits or security controls.
Probe, scan or overload our network or other customers’ workspaces, or spread malware.
Resell or white-label 9bx without a written agreement with us.
We may investigate suspected misuse and, where needed to protect the network, other customers or the public, suspend the numbers, routes or accounts involved. See Suspension and termination.
07Your data
You own your data. Everything your business puts into 9bx, including customer data, call recordings, messages and employee records, remains yours.
Our permission to use it. You allow us to host, copy, transmit and process that data only as needed to provide, secure and support the service, and as described in our Privacy policy.
Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your data, and for having the rights, notices and consents needed to put it into 9bx, including for call recordings and employee data.
Export. You can export your data from the app, or ask us for an export, at any time during your subscription and during the 30-day read-only period after it lapses.
Usage statistics. We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how 9bx is used to run and improve the service. It never identifies you or your content.
08Telephony
Emergency calls. 9bx does not replace a traditional phone line for emergency calls. Emergency calling may not work, or may not pass on your correct location, during power or internet outages, from softphones and mobile apps, or where your carrier does not support it. Make sure the people in your workspace have another way to reach emergency services.
Numbers and porting. Phone numbers come from telecom carriers. Which numbers are available, whether a number can be ported and how long porting takes depend on the carrier and local rules. Where the carrier allows, we will help you port out numbers you are entitled to when you leave.
Call quality. Call quality depends on your internet connection, network, devices and carriers, which are outside our control.
Your own carriers and gateways. If you connect your own SIP trunk, GSM gateway or carrier, your contract with that provider governs it, and you are responsible for its charges and compliance.
Regulatory information. You must give us accurate information that carriers or regulators require, for example to assign numbers or verify caller IDs.
09Self-hosted deployments
If you install 9bx on your own server, you are responsible for that server and its environment: the hardware or cloud account, operating system and network, security and updates, firewalls, backups and disaster recovery, and the lawful handling of the data it stores. The same applies to storage you connect for call recordings. We are not responsible for data loss or breaches caused by an environment you manage.
You must not modify the software to bypass licensing or usage metering. Our support covers the 9bx software; it does not include managing your server unless we agree to it in writing.
10Availability and support
We work hard to keep 9bx available and fast, and we schedule maintenance to keep disruption low. Unless you have signed a service level agreement (SLA), which is available on Enterprise plans, the service is provided on a best-effort basis, without guaranteed uptime or response times.
Support is provided through the channels included in your plan. Where an SLA applies, its uptime commitments, response times and service credits are your sole remedy for downtime.
11Suspension and termination
Non-payment. If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, the workspace becomes read-only: you can sign in, view and export data, but paid features stop working. If payment is still outstanding, we may suspend the workspace. Nothing is deleted for 30 days after the lapse. After that, and after giving the account owner notice, we may permanently delete the workspace and its data. Paying at any point before deletion restores access.
Breach. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms, for example the acceptable use rules, or where needed to protect the network or other customers or to comply with the law. Where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Billing & Plans. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
After termination. Your right to use 9bx ends. Terms that by their nature should survive, including amounts owed, data, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law, continue to apply.
12Intellectual property
LogicArray owns 9bx, including the software, apps, designs, documentation and the 9bx name and logo, and all related intellectual property. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use 9bx for your internal business purposes during your subscription. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of 9bx to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve 9bx without any obligation to you.
13Confidentiality
Each party may receive the other’s confidential information: for us, non-public product, security and pricing details; for you, your workspace content and business information. Each party will use the other’s confidential information only for this agreement, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound by similar duties, or where the law requires.
14Warranties disclaimer
We will provide 9bx with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, 9bx is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet requirements we have not agreed to in writing.
You are responsible for deciding whether 9bx, including features such as payroll calculations and reports, meets your legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
15Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill, even if it was told such losses were possible.
Each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for 9bx in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your breach of the acceptable use rules, your indemnity, or liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
16Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify LogicArray against claims, fines and costs brought by third parties or regulators that arise from your data, your users’ actions, or your use of 9bx in breach of these terms or the law, including unlawful calls, messages or recordings. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control its defence, and you will not settle it in a way that admits fault on our behalf without our consent.
17Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a dispute arises, we will both first try in good faith to resolve it by talking; contact us using the details below. If it is not resolved within 30 days, either party may take it to the competent courts of Bangladesh.
Nothing stops either party from seeking urgent relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
18Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell account owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using 9bx after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
19General
Events beyond our control. Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as power or network failures, carrier outages, natural disasters or government action.
Transfer. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and will tell you if we do.
Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy policy and any order form or SLA you sign are the entire agreement between us about 9bx.
Severability and waiver. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean giving it up.
Notices. We send notices to the account owner’s email address or in the app. You can send notices to us using the details below.
